2014 the umbrella movement,
I told kids to go home get an education,
But 2016 was the disappointment,
Bookstore owners gone with no justification.
2019 say what? Extradition?
The people took the streets and told where they stand,
But the government, they didn't understand.
So yea, there was an escalation,
A great confusion.
Lennon walls started appearing round the streets,
Beautiful post-its talking about peace.
But on the night of July the twenty first,
pedestrians cried because triads burst,
attacked the press,
attacked the elderly,
attacked a pregnant woman,
Where was the policemen?
I didn't think this day would come,
but living here feels like being in a prison,
The people are tired,
the people are sad,
but above all the people are mad,
Mad because once upon a time
Some of us defended the governemnt's crimes,
But today we see
very clearly,
Who is right , who is wrong,
While they try to stop us,
We will stay strong,
Seek for justice,
And this will not be the end of any of it.

New Lyrics for Little Mermaid's Part of Your World
Me performing on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8alRnRWYI0A
Look at this stuff,
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my life is complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl, the girl who has, everything?
I think that I am a good teacher,
I have family friends and boyfriend,
You want some manuscripts?
I got three of'em
But who cares?
No big deal,
I want more...
I want to be real writer,
I want to see my name on a book,
shelfed next to Shakespeare
or Kevin Kwan
that would be neat...
Don't get me wrong,
I am proud to have
three manuscripts sittin on my laptop,
mocking at me saying
"What are you doing?"
I do not know...
One day I'll be,
Courageous and free,
I'll send them out for people to read,
One day I'll be,
Telling stories...
Published and heard...
What would I pay
to spend my days
writing away
What would I pay
to play with words and tell stories
Betcha I'd slay after a day
cause I tell it like I see it
Bright young woman,
Sick of hiding,
ready to send...
And ready to go where the authors go,
ready to edit till past midnight
pushing the limits of narratives
and how they're told
One day I'll be,
Courageous and free,
I'll send them out for people to read,
One day I'll be,
Telling stories...
Published and heard...
In the mean time,
What's on my mind,
you can see here...

Beauty and the Beast review *spoiler alert*
OMG! I mean I have been looking forward to the adaptation ever since it announced its revival. And boy did they not disappoint (or should I say barely) and here's my three cents (lol):First of all no wonder the adaptation of the screen play was so good: it was written by Stephen Chbomsky!!! Literary genius if you ask me! So adding in my favorite quote of all time "Love looks not in the eyes but in the mind, and therefore is winged cupid painted blind." from A Midsummer Nights Dream William Shakespeare cannot be a coincidence! And them debating whether Romeo and Juliet is a great play was beyond stellar if you ask me!
But let me start at the very beginning. So for them to create a story line out of Belle's mother and the Beast's parents was a really great idea, making them a lot more relatable. When Belle came up with the idea of a washing machine and teaching a girl how to read was so gutsy! Oh and an African American or Brit or whoever he was to play the bookshop keeper was such a nice touch to show not just diversity but the contrast between the "white normals" and the only two readers in that small town. That also goes to the other two African Americans or Brits in the castle. Great casting call there! (She can sing damn well btw). More about casting is Kevin Kline. Though a supporting role had to be the one who delivered the best, but I mean we all know he's an acting veteran. I recognized Emma Thompson's voice immediately after Mrs Pot said something but I was like wait she wasn't in the interviews either...is it really her? But it was! She can deliver some good lines but let's just admit it, she can't really carry a tune. I did however like the change of the last few lines in the end song "winter turns to spring, famine turns to feast, nature points the way, nothing left to say, beauty and the beast." Genius! I don't particularly feel Emma and Dan can carry the two new songs well either. Let's just admit Celine and Josh did a much better job. And may I also say (and this is coming from an Ariana and John Legend fan) that the original was better than the new adaptation, I just thought it didn't bring anything new to the table.
Okay the only part I did feel did not quite live up to my expectations (but I also know why due to the interviews:) is the dance (and here's the rationale: Dan Stevens was on stilts when he made this movie, so come on give him a break). I also felt like the room lacked that the magic the original had but then once he lifted her and lights were shining everywhere I was then amazed, stunned and basically transfixed.
In short Beauty and the Beast was a daring project itself and it amazed me more than disappointed and I will if you are not annoyed by a lipsyncing movie companion to go with them I will watch it again on the big screen.
Toodles as I enjoy my new downloads of the soundtrack! =)

Sam Smith Lay By Your Side new lyrics (No Other Kind Of Love):
Yes I do, I
believe
One day I
will be
In love, in
white, in front of God,
Saying my
vows to my love,
Swearing
eternal love solemnly.
As much as I
am scared of love,
Of being
hurt,
I miss being
kissed embraced by you,
Each night,
each morning,
Each day,
each year,
Growing old
with you.
Even though I
can’t see it right now
But I will
not give it up,
At least not
now.
Can I have
the chance to love?
To have and
to hold?
From young to
old.
Can I take
care of your soul?
Like you’ll
take care of mine too.
There’s no
other kind of love I’d say yes to.
(That's all I have now, and I will try to do a video of me singing this on my channel later on, but right now my voice is horrific, so please bear with me for the time being.)

Life Story (new set of lyrics) (Love Story Taylor Swift)
Sorry I have been very busy with school and life aka making money for school. So I haven't as promised on my channel perform the set of lyrics that I wrote and hyped about but I thought I'd let you guys have a sneak peek, it's called Life Story:
When I was young,
And I had pigtails on me,
I would turn them into a bun and
Imagine it with a white wedding gown.
I thought love was just
a piece of cake,
some patience and some sweetness,
But I didn't know it would be so hard.
**That things can't be explained,
it's just a game of roulette.
That's why they call it fate and destiny.
Stop crying over love,
That's cupid's job, not yours.
##And I say,
Even though I really want to be in love,
I can't force it,
neither can I stop it.
Use your big heart and focus on loving you.
It's a life story,
Honey just say yes.
You can make an inspiration board,
List all of the things
that you can do
Because we know time flies
Repeat **
^^Rainbow is shining
I can see it crystal clear
This life is difficult
But I appeal
Don't be afraid
I can stand tall myself
It's a life story
Don't make it complex.
I've wasted my emotions
My hearts been broken too many times
But I thought maybe someday
But someday never came, never.
Repeat ## and ^^

Love at First Read (lyrics rewrote) (Shiga 說一句)
I rewrote these lyrics from Shiga's canto song a while ago, but the new setting and audio on my channel is horrible, so this is just a sneak peek of the lyrics, I'll try to do a better take 2 later on.

Lyrics:
From the very first email,
To the very last goodbye,
I gave, I gave all of my heart,
And revealed all of my secrets.
You trusted me, so I trusted you.
But it turned out I was just a fool.
As I pushed you away, I lost my muse and pen
To convey these mixed emotions...
Chorus:
I was surprised myself, when I fell for you,
It was love at first read and I knew
You were the man that was not just a suit
But you had passion for life and it was written down too.
It felt like you were the one I was looking for
And it didn't even take one single kiss or touch
Endearing notes trembled my heart,
And the funny thing is, that it was love at first read.
I hate myself, you did nothing wrong
Because it's you who helped me grow
You helped me shed light on life's clarity
But then things started to shatter...
But when you did not love me
My sentiments were not reciprocated
Life lose clarity
Chorus:
I was surprised myself, when I fell for you,
It was love at first read and I knew,
You were the man that was not just a suit

Spoken word poem video feat lyrics
I'm not scared of concrete,
I'm not scared of jungles,
But the two put together,
Creates so much struggles.
Surviving this city,
In two thousand thirteen,
One degree is not enough,
You have to have three,
By the time you have three,
At the age of thirty,
You make thirty grand a month,
And spend thirteen on rent,
On a three hundred square feet apartment,
That resembles a Canadian basement.
Surviving this city,
In two thousand thirteen,
There's always protests
There's always contests,
Not enough empathy,
not enough sympathy.
So much tension,
But a lack of creation.
Literature was long gone,
All we have are pop songs.
Capitalism, consumerism,
Wrapped in Louis and Givenchy.
Laced with Mercedes and Audis,
Topped with a tint of greed.
We wave no at charities that solicit monthly help,
Is it because we don't have enough wealth?
Fifty cents per bag as a wakeup call,
Something we should have known ever since we were small.
As a teacher I always bear in mind:
Always be gracious and always be kind!
Always be tenacious and never be blind...
That there are people around us who need tender love and care,
Not because they are pretty not because they are rare.
I hate cliches but this I must say:
What defines us is not how much we have or save,
Its about what we offer and if we are brave,
Not how pretty we are,
how many acquaintances we make.
Let's keep that in mind every step we take.
Surviving this city,
In two thousand thirteen,
Its a treacherous road to write for a living,
But that will not stop me as much as giving...
Giving to charities giving my words...
Whatever form it takes its far from absurd.
Is Hong Kong the ideal place to reside?
Maybe yes maybe no,
Let's take time to decide.
However dear comrades let's not give in!
There must be more than this bubble we live in!
We are blessed with no terrorists
Nor natural disasters,
No wars no floods maybe just a blister.
With passion and vision and a ton of conviction,
I'm sure we'll create a new Chinese sensation!
One we will be proud of and have our thumbs up.
I will stop rambling and now wrap it up.
Will it be hard to survive this city?
I'm sure it will be,
But nothing should stop me, no one but me.
Descending down the cobbled staircase in Soho one night,
Masquerades and drinks mock my maudlin sorrows under.
Then I start to ask if I'm nebbish,
Am I doomed for life
Consolation in the form of beer is not what I asked for.
**I miss the graffiti down in Sauga,
Miss how they seemed to understand me.
Here I am just another fellow clubber,
Who never seems to feel right.
And then I conjure up the greatest alley I've been before,
A place I can evade,
A place I like to call Grace Alley.
I miss the mural that was painted outside my high school wall,
All the innocence,
All the songs,
And all the laughter.
Now we're all grown up
There are no more murals just cheap wine
Is it because its all washed up by reality
I paint my own mural with my two eyes,
See all the colors dance on the wall
Then I am drifted to my own paradise
You don't have to wake me.
And then I conjure up the greatest alley I've been before,
A place I can embrace
A place I like to call Grace Alley.
*This is not a hallucination
I am just imaging
A mosaic sanctuary
I paint my own mural with my two eyes,
See all the colors dance on the wall
Then I am drifted to my own paradise
You don't have to wake me.
And then I conjure up the greatest alley I've been before,
A place I can evade, a place I can embrace.
I go down the stairs and then stay grounded
Push out the dreams and say I'm alright
Put on a smile and remind myself that tomorrow is a new day
The sun will come out
And I will stride these steps with full positivity
Steadfastly knowing I will always have Grace Alley
Wherever I go...
