Prerogative?

People often ask me why I need to work out or eat right despite the fact that I am paper thin. Being thin doesn't mean I have the prerogative to be unhealthy, to not exercise, to eat the wrong things. It's like if you are smart, does it give you the prerogative to shirk? To be complacent? To fall below your full potential? The age-old Aesop fable The Tortoise and the Hare perfectly illustrates this. Traits like being thin, or smart of fast, just gives you a head start, in the end, it's really up to you to maintain your performance and make it in the world. Never be jealous of someone who has a certain kind of trait or head start because God is fair, there are probably traits you have that they want as well. The beauty of life is the challenge and pursuit of what we want. If everything is handed out to you, life would be dull and uninteresting. So be tenacious!! Love life's challenges!! And be grateful for what you have!!=)
