An update and some hypes

Sorry for being mia but the past few weeks i have been busy closing the school year with graduation preparations and writing report cards and portfolios. And last weekend i was occupied with preparing my birthday party. Oh yea here's a little picture snapped from the party:

My last day was Wednesday, and i am terrible at goodbyes but i did manage not to cry that day. It has been a great year and i thank all my colleagues (whom most i have formed close friendships with), the adorbs students as well as caring parents who helped make it such a pleasant journey, i will miss everyone! 

Unfortunately, i believe on that day, because i was caught in the rain a bit, i caught a terrible flu... The next day i was shivering which is a first in the AC in my apartment, and then it developed into a fever that didnt subside until past 3am. For one second i thought i was gonna  siu wah lo (retardness caused by fever) lol The next morning i started to throw up, and by noon i was throwing up bile. I had to cancel my Monsters University plans and dinner plans that day :( and rested the whole time.

Yesterday morning (saturday) i got startled by my dear sis Jen saying if i wanted breakfast which in all fairness it was around 11am lol and then later i managed to head out for Despicable Me 2 which was hillllllarious!!!! Lol after that i was gonna go home but Korean sounded way too tempting so i stayed for some healthy Korean food and then called it a night.

This afternoon i watched an incredibly motivating and touching movie called "42" which chronicled the start of African Americans playing league baseball. Leme know if you want a full review. And after blogging i plan to do some reading to finish off the day. (Sophies World) quite interesting!! Thanks Alvin for the recommendation!! Full book review when i finish i promise!!

The hypes:

As for what to look forward on this blog: i have been working on a spoken word poem. Its been through several drafts already but i need to keep rehearsing before i record myself actually delivering it. And i would most probably be posting via youtube on my channel called "airlielyrics" so subscribe and stay tuned!!

Another announcement i'd like to make is that i will be working in Island School next year which should be an interesting change of environment.

Concerts to look forward to: Owl City in aug!!! And Rihanna in sept!!! If you still cant tell...i am hyped to the maxxxxx!!!!!
