So it's been a while since I last seriously updated on how I have been recently, well not here anyway, maybe on my channel or facebook, but since all those mediums should have facilitated my genuine goal which is flow people to this blog, I feel like I also owe it to my loyal readers who don't know of those mediums and that I will do another update here:
Basically about a month ago I had the privilege to meet the US Presidents step-brother Mark Obama at an evening gala organized by the school I work for. It was a very surreal, but exciting moment to see the six degree of separation actually happening, but yea it was pretty cool. And to be able to introduce myself with my M.U.S.I.C. project, as well as having his autograph signed with something inspiring is just icing on the cake of seeing the students make it all happen. Those are moments of my career that I will never forget!
By the way, did I mention I met the famous HK actor Michael Wong that evening? He is brilliant not only in guiding kids to their dreams but also his musical talents were tantamount to Mark's. And when I told him about the lyrics I'm working on, he even gave me his email saying he'd like to be in touch on a new album project!=)
O and I think I should also rewind that day a bit and mention in the morning, the senior debate team I led won that round of Singtao 3-0 plus best debater and interrogator. O and my junior public speaker won runners up to Standard Charters public speaking finals!=) So professionally speaking It was the perfect day!=)
I also had a lot of fun on "Dress as a literary character day" (ahem, I was Daisy Buchanan):
I have been quite sick with tonsilitis for a while but I'm good now. Just some checkups once and a while and I have to quit coffee and alcohol. I'm doing quite well with that surprisingly.
Apart from that I'm just looking forward to Bruno Mars concert this Saturday and my Boracay trip in April!!!=)
I finished reading Jodi Picoult's Handle With Care, and I was initially going to do a review on it, but spoiler alert: since I was quite heart broken by the ending, I'm not too sure how I'll angle the review, so until then, I'm just gonna be blogging and writing my novel. Aside from that, I'm reading (the long ado) Catchers in a Rye (much due to the recent documentary hype)
