Nocte-- re-defining healthy Spanish gourmet

A close family friend of ours, who is a registered dietitian and former Little Bao chef has recently opened up his own Spanish joint Nocte in Tai Hang, a restaurant that will surely re-define healthy gourmet. To say my friend is a food enthusiast will be an under-statement. He is a perfectionist when it comes to food. He uses only the freshest ingredients to ensure food quality. In fact all the herbs and spices he has been using for the soft opening week is organically home grown by himself. Even the pasta used is homemade rather than wholesale ready-made!

I have had the many privileges of tasting his fine culinary arts and never was I ever disappointed. When I heard he is finally pursuing his dream of opening up his own restaurant, my only thought was "Damn, I wish I were in Hong Kong!"

Do not be fooled by it's name and owl logo, though it is fully licensed for liquor and the nocturnal; Nocte also serves brunch as well.

Address: G/F, 9 Warren Street, Tai Hang 大坑華倫街9號地舖

(No that is not me in the photo, I wish I were there. Yes I am fully affiliated and hence endorsing this restaurant in hopes he will pay me back with good food when I'm back in town!)
