The Age of "Following"

Its 2013 and we are amdist the age of "following" people on twitter, instagram, facebook, following fashion trends, pop culture, following the stock market, the latest gadgets. We follow.

There was a time when we followed our beliefs, followed our faith, followed our hearts. There was a time when following was filtered with "thinking" and wasnt as convenient as clicking an icon or using your dollar signs. There was a time when we said we follow something, it had a meaning and that actions say more than words, more than clicks.

  1. Really hear you on this- I also think that social media has become a buffer to actually being in the moment...it is like junk food for the brain.
